Composition Each 100 ml contains:
- Lincomycin Hydrochloride 10 g
- Excipients to 100 ml
Indications: Lincomycin is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that becomes bactericidal when a certain concentration is achieved, especially on sensitive bacteria. Lincostin is primarily effective against gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Clostridium, Bacillus anthracis, and Corynebacterium sp. It is also active against some gram-negative bacteria like Haemophilus and Pasteurella, in addition to Mycoplasma. Therefore, Lincostin is used for the treatment and prevention of necrotic enteritis, arthritis, ovaritis, and respiratory disorders such as Mycoplasma, fowl cholera, and coryza.
Usage and Dosages: For oral administration.
- Prevention: 100 ml per 200 L drinking water for 3-5 days.
- Treatment: 200 ml per 200 L drinking water for 3-5 days.
Withdrawal Period: None.
