Composition:
Each 100 ml contains:
- Sulphadiazine Sodium: 20 g
- Trimethoprim: 4 g
- Excipients to: 100 ml
Indications:
Sulphatrim Nour is used for the treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to trimethoprim and sulfadiazine, which affect the gastrointestinal, respiratory, reproductive, and urinary tracts in poultry, lambs, and calves.
Contraindications:
- Not to be given to layers producing eggs for human consumption.
- Not to be used in animals suffering from severe impaired renal or liver function.
- Not to be given with anti-coccidial medications (enofore) as it increases the risk of poisoning.
- Not to be administered concurrently with Methiaminine.
Withdrawal period:
- Meat: Calves, sheep, and goats: 8 days.
Poultry: 5 days.
Side effects:
- Should not be used in large doses or for long periods.
Usage:
For oral administration.
Dosage:
- Poultry: 1-2 ml per 2.5 L of drinking water for 4-7 days.
- Calves and lambs: 2 ml per 15 kg body weight in drinking water for 5 continuous days.
