Indications:
For the prevention and treatment of intestinal, tape and lung parasite infections in ruminants (cattle – sheep – goats)
- Intestinal worms: Bonostomosum – Chapiria – Coberia-Haimonics – Nematoderis – Osophagostoma – Ostortagia – Stringillus – Trichostrongyls – Tapeworms (Monesia)
- Lungworms: Dictyocaulus filaria
- Liver worms: The adult phase of Fasciola hepatica
Warnings:
Not given in the first months of pregnancy.
Installation:
Each 5 g bolus contains:
- Albendazole 500 mg.
- Excipients sufficient quantity for one bolus.
How to use:
A single dose given orally or by bolus ejector.
It is preferable to give it in the morning before food.
Dosages:
- For gastro-intestinal worms:
- Sheep and goats: One bolus per 100 kg bw (5 mg/kg bw)
- cows: At the rate of 3 bolus per 100 kg live weight (7.5 mg/kg live weight)
- For liver worms:
- Sheep and goats: 2 bolus per 100 kg bw (7.5 mg/kg bw)
- cows: 5 bolus per 100 kg body weight (10 mg/kg live weight)
Withdrawal period:
- the meat: 12 days
- the milk: 4 days
