Composition:
Each bolus (5g) contains:
- Bendazole: 500 mg
- Excipient: an adequate quantity for one bolus
Indications: For the prevention and treatment of lungworms, cestodes (Moniezia), and gastrointestinal worms in ruminants (cows, sheep, goats).
- Gastrointestinal worms: Bunostomum, Chabertia, Cooperia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides, and Trichostrongylus spp.
- Cestodes: Moniezia
- Lungworms: Dictyocaulus
- Liver worms: Mature stages of Liver Fluke
Warnings: Should not be administered during the first months of pregnancy.
Usage: Given orally as a single dose, preferably in the morning before feeding, or by using a bolus ejector.
Dosage:
- For gastrointestinal and lung worms:
- Sheep and goats: One bolus per 100 kg body weight (5 mg/kg B.W.)
- Cows: On average, three boluses per 100 kg body weight (7.5 mg/kg B.W.)
- For hepatic worms:
- Sheep and goats: Two boluses per 100 kg body weight (7.5 mg/kg B.W.)
- Cows: Five boluses per 100 kg body weight (10 mg/kg B.W.)
Withdrawal period:
- Meat: 12 days
- Milk: 4 days
