Composition:
Each 100 ml contains:
- Albendazole: 2.5 g
- Excipients to: 100 ml
Indications:
For the prevention and treatment of infections by lung parasites, cestodes (Moniezia), and gastrointestinal parasites in ruminants (cows, sheep, goats).
Gastrointestinal worms: Bunostomum, Chabertia, Cooperia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides, and Trichostrongylus spp. Cestodes: Moniezia Lung worms: Dictyocaulus Liver worms: Mature stages of liver fluke (Fasciola).
Contraindications:
- Not to be given in the first 45 days of gestation.
Usage:
Given orally as a single dose. Shake well before use.
Dosage:
Sheep and goats:
- Gastrointestinal and lung worms: 2 ml per 10 kg body weight (5 mg/kg body weight).
- Liver fluke: 4 ml per 14 kg body weight (7.5 mg/kg body weight).
Cows and calves:
- Gastrointestinal and lung worms: 15 ml per 50 kg body weight (7.5 mg/kg body weight).
- Liver fluke: 20 ml per 50 kg body weight (10 mg/kg body weight).
Withdrawal period:
- Meat: 12 days.
- Milk: 4 days.
