Under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, Ahmed Al-Qadri, The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture and the Syndicate of Veterinarians, in cooperation with the Desert Rose Company for organizing exhibitions and conferences, inaugurated Exhibition of poultry and its veterinary and agricultural supplies, And with the participation of many Syrian and international companies producing veterinary medicines, fodder and its supplements and production requirements, both veterinary and agricultural.
In a statement, the Minister of Agriculture stressed the importance of the exhibition in promoting the products of national laboratories related to the poultry and livestock sectors. Noting the great interest the government attaches to the agricultural and livestock sectors, And the special support for the poultry sector because it is a large sector, as Syria was one of the leading countries in the region in the production of poultry, and part of its production was exported to some neighboring countries, such as the export of eggs and broilers.
Al-Qadri pointed out that during the war, many facilities were damaged. Pointing out that the ministry is currently working on developing a plan to develop this sector and support it in many ways to restore it to its former glory and return the production process to its previous era.
The head of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture, Muhammad Kishto, participated in the opening. And the head of the Syndicate of Veterinarians in Syria, Dr. Samir Ismail, And the exhibition coordinator, member of the board of directors of the Damascus Chamber of Agriculture, Mr. Nizar Saad Al-Din, And the General Manager of the Desert Rose Company for organizing exhibitions and conferences, Mr. Farouk Jakesh.
It is noteworthy that the number of companies participating in the exhibition, which ends today, is 51 companies.
