Indications:
Sulfatrim is used in the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections, trimethoprim and sulfadiazine, that affect the respiratory, urogenital and gastrointestinal tract in poultry, calves and lambs.
Installation:
Each 100 ml contains:
- Sulfadiazine sodium 40g.
- trimethoprim 8g.
- Excipients up to 100 ml.
How to use:
by drinking water.
Contraindications:
- It is not recommended for use in animals with kidney or liver failure.
- It should not be given with the anti-coccidial drug (Enovor), as it may lead to increased toxicity.
- Do not give concomitant methenamine.
Dosages:
100 ml per 200 liters of drinking water for two days, and the dose can be repeated after 5 days.
Or 2 ml per 1 liter of drinking water for 8 hours for each day of treatment and for two days.
Side Effects
Do not use in large doses and for a long time.
Withdrawal period:
the meat :
- Calves, sheep and goats: 8 days .
- poultry: 5 days .
